Who Are We, and What Are We doing On New Year's Eve?

We're contemporary folk/pop singers from the heart of Maine, back in Maine after a 5 year sojourn in Arizona, settled in on Pushaw Lake in Glenburn, just outside of beautiful downtown Bangor.

Important News! New Year's Eve Online Show!

We're MCing an online 4 hour New Years Eve show featuring a number of wonderful musicians! For those familiar with our reguar online Tuesday evening shows, we will be MCing with our dogs and cats from the comfort of our living room, and will be playing the last 90 minutes of the show leading up to the proverbial "ball drop" ushering in 2021. The show is called, fittingly "2020 Hindsight" named after what has become our theme song for our Tuesday series! For more information, check out the poster for the evening. Tickets are a very sane $10.00 at Eventbrite allowing continued access during and after the show.

We're here with great friends and our family of dogs and cats. We've played our eclectic mix of originals and covers in coffeehouses, fairs, bars, restaurants, house concerts/private parties, and benefits, and now in a long running series on facebook! Our albums of covers and original music are available for purchase, both on CD and digitally. Give us a listen and contact us! We just recently completed two new collection of original music, Real Music and Real Music Two, available on CDBaby in CD and digital download form. The first track of that CD is the song Stranded, a bit of an autobiographical tune with words by Leslie and music by Larry:

In Arizona we typically hung out at our "regular"  Camp Verde coffeehouse music night/open stage and played a few folk/rock originals, and also play listening rooms, house concerts, fairs, and other concert venues.  In Bangor and the surrounding area we have been seen at various listening rooms, open stages, jams, and festivals.  We're equally at home with our original music and stories, and covers of Pete Seeger, Bob Dylan, Led Zeppelin, Donna Summer, James Taylor, and Taylor Swift.  Fans are reminded of the old days in Greenwich Village! It seems to be all about finding the right mix of music for the right crowd. We have an upcoming coffeehouse gig where we'll showcase a show of our original music, then a morning at a Farmer's Market where we'll play mostly light covers, songs like Crazy, Do You Know the Way to San Jose, and California Dreamin'.

We have five CDs of music, four of them almost completely original (Little by Little, That's Life, Real Music, and Real Music Two), and a CD of Woody Guthrie style folk tunes (including This Land is Your Land of course). All of these are digitally available on CDBaby.com and ITunes. We don't have an official recording of a more modern collection of cover tunes, but we never miss a chance to play them wherever we go. A number of these in mp3 form are on this website and available on request. Just send us an email.

The musicians here in the midcoast Maine region are an eclectic mix of musicians, a healthy mix of those with downeast roots and those who have come "from away" (as they say in DownEast, Maine).  The music is a mixture of folk, rolk, pop, jazz, country, blue grass, and blues. Although our roots are firmly planted in the "60's and '70's, we draw from older as well as newer forms of music, equally at home with Appalachian folk and modern alt music. Take a look at our site and listen to some of our music!
